TIPS – Pilot to direct for command in BricsCAD

That so great for who want to learn CAD by themselves. However, the command that have more options, when you select an option, you don’t know the result until you perform all of options.

So, we share for you a new solution about “hint command” in a difference form, today. It is called TIPS in BricsCAD.

Starting at Version15 of BricsCAD, if you perform command in BIM modeling or 3D Solids, TIPS will display for easier draw. 

TIPS of Polysolid command

Use Ctrl key to switch options of TIPS, when you select an option, the result will display before you decide what option was selected.

Make sure that the TIPS menu is active 

After select command, “hint command” display not only command bar but also TIPS on the top of command bar.

Whenever to hit Ctrl key, result are: 

TIPS for others command: 

BIMDRAG

Major faces:

1.        Move the wall to new local, distance between 2 wall is over 0.
2.        Make wall to thicker or thinner. 

Minor faces:

1.        Make wall to longer or shorter.
2.        Automatic connect to the face of nearest wall. 

DMEXTRUDE 

1.        Automatic extrude or subtract the region was selected.
2.        Extrude to create new solid from origin solid.
3.        Subtract solid was selected from origin solid.
4.        Extrude and don’t create new solid.
